One of the ways we do this is through our extensive social events calendar. Our social events are one of our strongest initiatives to support the development and growth of our team members and our business.

We have a Social Committee that meet regularly throughout the year to plan a wide range of events, with the goal to help our employees achieve a good work-life balance. The Social Committee have recently set up a very popular rounders team and we even have our very own netball team.

The events that are planned aim to create a positive impact on the mental and physical well-being of all those who attend, whilst giving people a chance to socialise with colleagues from across the business.

Darnells also has its own in-house Wellbeing Champion Group that meet once a month to discuss different aspects of wellbeing whilst exploring solutions that will allow us to better support our team.
